Who's Playing

Dayton @ Miami (Fla.)

Current Records: Dayton 1-3; Miami (Fla.) 3-1

What to Know

The Dayton Flyers will square off against the Miami (Fla.) Hurricanes at noon ET Thursday at HP Field House. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Dayton now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.

The Flyers were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 87-81 to the Austin Peay Governors. This was hardly the result Dayton or its fans were betting on, as they were favored by 13.5 points over Austin Peay heading into this matchup. Dayton got double-digit scores from four players: forward Toumani Camara (14), guard Koby Brea (13), center Moulaye Sissoko (12), and guard Kobe Elvis (10).

Meanwhile, Miami (Fla.) took their contest against the Florida A&M Rattlers on Sunday by a conclusive 86-59 score. Miami (Fla.)'s guard Charlie Moore was one of the most active players for the team, shooting 5-for-7 from downtown and finishing with 20 points. Moore had some trouble finding his footing against the Florida Atlantic Owls last week, so this was a step in the right direction. Moore's points were the most he has had all season.

Miami (Fla.)'s win lifted them to 3-1 while Dayton's defeat dropped them down to 1-3. We'll see if the Hurricanes can repeat their recent success or if the Flyers bounce back and reverse their fortune.
