The West Virginia Mountaineers lost both of their matches to the Oklahoma State Cowboys last season on scores of 80-85 and 69-72, so they're hoping to turn the tables this season. West Virginia and Oklahoma State will face off in a Big 12 battle at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday at WVU Coliseum. The Mountaineers are out to keep their nine-game home win streak alive.

West Virginia narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past K-State 71-68. Guard Sean McNeil was the offensive standout of the matchup for West Virginia, picking up 26 points in addition to five rebounds. McNeil's performance made up for a slower contest against the Texas Longhorns last week. McNeil's points were the most he has had all year.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys strolled past Texas with points to spare this past Saturday, taking the game 64-51. Among those leading the charge for Oklahoma State was guard Keylan Boone, who shot 5-for-7 from beyond the arc and finished with 17 points and six boards.
Barring any buzzer beaters, West Virginia is expected to win a tight contest. Now might not be the best time to take West Virginia against the spread since they've let down bettors for the past two consecutive games.
The Mountaineers are now 12-2 while Oklahoma State sits at 8-5.
