Clemson University police arrested an 18-year-old man Friday in connection with the vandalism of iconic Howard's Rock. Micah Rogers, of Pisgah Forest, N.C., was charged with felony malicious injury to personal property and misdemeanor trespassing.

One interesting detail, according to authorities, is that Rogers appears to be a Clemson fan -- though he has no official ties to the university.

Clemson Police Capt. Eric Hendricks told reporters video showed a pickup truck outside the stadium on June 2, the date the rock was vandalized.

According to Hendricks, the video shows other people around the stadium as well. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

The protective casing of Howard's Rock was broken and a chunk was chipped off the rock that Clemson players rub before home games.

At this time, the broken portion of the rock has not been found.

Clemson University police released a photo of Rogers, who posted a bond of $5,470 on Friday.

For a happier discussion, we will re-watch Clemson's feature video on The Hill, starring Howard's Rock.
