Miami (OH) vs. Western Michigan Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Miami (OH) vs. Western Michigan football game
The Western Michigan Broncos have enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they must head out on the road. WMU and the Miami (OH) RedHawks will face off in a Mid-American battle at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Fred C. Yager Stadium. The Broncos will be hoping to build upon the 38-16 win they picked up against Miami (OH) when they previously played in October of 2019.
Last week, WMU lost to the Ohio Bobcats at home by a decisive 33-14 margin. No one had a standout game offensively for WMU, but QB Jack Salopek led the way with two touchdowns. One of the most thrilling moments was Crooms' 74-yard TD reception in the second quarter.
Miami (OH) suffered a bitter defeat last week, failing to capitalize on an early lead against the Bowling Green Falcons. The RedHawks were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 17-13 to Bowling Green. Like the Broncos, Miami (OH) didn't have any clear offensive standouts, but they got one touchdown from QB Aveon Smith.
WMU is expected to lose this next one by 6.5. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn't have high expectations for them since the team is 0-3 ATS when expected to lose.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Giving up six turnovers, WMU had had trouble holding onto the ball. We'll see if Miami (OH) can exploit that vulnerability.
