Well, it's a cliche, but one that's true here. Alabama lost to Ole Miss 43-37 on Saturday and got worse news Sunday morning, adding insult to injury.

According to AL.com, starting wide receiver Robert Foster suffered a torn rotator cuff in the loss to the Rebels and will be out for the remainder of the season. Foster was injured late in the first half when he came down awkwardly after fighting for a jump ball.

Losing Foster is a big loss for the Alabama receiving corps that does not have a lot of experience. The top two receivers for Alabama this season are tight end O.J. Howard and running back Kenyan Drake, but Foster is fourth on the team with 116 yards on 10 catches and is tied for the team lead with two receiving touchdowns.

The Tide will now lean even more on sophomore ArDarius Stewart, who leads the team in receptions with 18 and is third with 138 receiving yards. Alabama will also ask more of senior Richard Mullaney and freshman Calvin Ridley.

Those three, along with Foster, are the only wide receivers that have caught a pass this season for the Tide.
