Oregon State's defense has been flying around the field, snatching three takeaways already. they might just be able to coast to victory if they can keep up that ball pressure

Washington @ Oregon State

Current Records: Washington 2-2; Oregon State 3-1

What to Know

The Oregon State Beavers are 0-6 against the Washington Huskies since November of 2015, but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. Oregon State and Washington will face off in a Pac-12 battle at 9 p.m. ET at Reser Stadium. The Huskies will need to watch out since Oregon State has now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

Oregon State was hampered by 145 penalty yards against the USC Trojans last week, but luckily for them that wasn't the tale of the game. Oregon State captured a comfortable 45-27 win. They can attribute much of their success to RB B.J. Baylor, who rushed for one TD and 158 yards on 23 carries, and QB Chance Nolan, who passed for four TDs and 213 yards on 19 attempts in addition to picking up 57 yards on the ground.

The Beavers' defense was a presence as well, as it collected three interceptions and one fumble. Those interceptions were spread across their defensive unit.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Huskies ultimately got the result they were hoping for last week with a 31-24 victory over the California Golden Bears. The team ran away with 21 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those in the second to pick up the victory. Washington's success was spearheaded by the efforts of QB Dylan Morris, who passed for two TDs and 234 yards on 32 attempts, and RB Sean McGrew, who punched in two rushing touchdowns. Washington's win came on a two-yard rush from McGrew with only 0:00 remaining in overtime.

This next game is expected to be close, with Oregon State going off at just a 2.5-point favorite. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a two-game streak of ATS wins.

The wins brought Oregon State up to 3-1 and the Huskies to 2-2. Two numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: The Beavers are 184th worst in the nation in thrown interceptions, having thrown four on the season. Washington has experienced some struggles of their own as they are stumbling into the matchup with the 215th most thrown interceptions in the nation, having thrown five on the season. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
