Duval has been placed on waivers by Grand Rapids, per Real GM.
The decision to waive Duval was to open the door for Isaiah Thomas, who exploded in his G League debut to the tune of 42 points and was subsequently signed to a 10-day hardship deal by the Lakers. It's unclear what's in store for Duval at this point, but he's free to sign elsewhere.
