Eakin was reportedly selected by the Golden Knights, per Jim Toth of TSN 1290.
After missing the start of this past season, Eakin struggled to find his scoring touch, as he registered a paltry three goals and nine helpers in 60 outings. Vegas general manager George McPhee will no doubt be hoping the center returns to his 2015-16 form, as he garnered 35 points that season. Even if the 26-year-old can rediscover his game, he likely won't see as much ice time as he did last year with Dallas -- 16:49 per game.
