Isles Carkner Headed To IR

Carkner (upper body) will start the season on IR, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.Carkner hasn't skated in a few days now, and will be stashed on IR until he can be cleared for practice. The blueliner tallied three assists and 149 PIM in 53 games last season.
