Horcoff is not interested in trying to secure a professional tryout offer (PTO) with the Oilers, the team that made him a fourth-round pick in 1988, Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal reports.

At 38 years old, one would think Horcoff is nearly ready to hang up his skates and call it a career. The veteran center is coming off a 59-game campaign with Anaheim, having only produced six goals and nine assists, not including a brief playoff stint. Assuming this is the last we'll see of Horcoff, he finishes his career with 511 points over 15 years of NHL service time split between the Oilers, Stars, and Ducks.
