Aronson agreed to a one-year contract with KHL side HC Lada on Monday, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.

In what has played out more like a day time soap opera than professional hockey, Aronson did not make a return trip back to Milwaukee following a road game, as he felt that he should have been called up to Nashville rather than another defender. The 24-year-old left his team high and dry as they entered the Calder Cup playoffs and it showed as the Admirals were swept in the opening round, largely due to poor defensive play. It seems Aronson has decided to take his talents abroad rather than try to work things out with the Predators. On the ice, the blueliner is a fantastic two-way prospect as he led all defenseman with 40 points in 64 contests in addition to playing solid on the back end.
