  • Miska stopped 20 of 22 shots in AHL Colorado's win over AHL Henderson on Wednesday. This was Miska's first game since his demotion from the Avalanche and second win for the goalie with the Eagles. His replacement at the NHL level, Jonas Johansson, had a difficult night in his first appearance with the Avs, but the organization has no plans at this time to bring back Miska.

  • Miska was assigned to AHL Colorado on Friday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports. Miska has struggled in limited action with the Avalanche this season, compiling a 1-1-2 record while posting an ugly 4.15 GAA and .838 save percentage. The 25-year-old American will, however, likely return to the big club's active roster sooner rather than later.

  • Miska gave up four goals on seven shots in Tuesday's 8-4 win over the Ducks. Miska was responsible for all four of the Ducks' goals in a chaotic first period. Once Philipp Grubauer entered in relief of Miska at the start of the second, the Avalanche rallied with six unanswered goals. The 25-year-old Miska didn't factor in the decision, but his GAA rose to 4.16 with an .838 save percentage in five appearances. Head coach Jared Bednar probably can't put much trust in the Minnesota native at this point, so Grubauer should be expected to see the vast majority of the starts.

  • Miska will patrol the crease during Tuesday's home game against Anaheim, NHL.com's Rick Sadowski reports. Miska wasn't great in his last start March 6 against the Ducks, surrendering five goals on 27 shots en route to a 5-4 overtime loss. The 25-year-old rookie will attempt to bounce back and secure his second win of the season in a rematch with the same Anaheim club Tuesday.

  • Miska stopped 22 of 27 shots Saturday in a 5-4 overtime loss to Anaheim. Miska had a 4-2 lead in the third period, but goals by Anaheim's Troy Terry and Kevin Shattenkirk in the final seven minutes of regulation tied the game, and Ryan Getzlaf completed the rally with a power-play strike in overtime. The 25-year-old slipped to 1-1-2 with a 3.50 GAA and .865 save percentage.
