We discussed last week that Tiger Woods is planning on tweaking his pre-Florida 2015 schedule but as of a week before Christmas Woods still hadn't announced where he would play.

All we know for sure is that he will play the Farmers Insurance Open at the beginning of February and that he won't play in the Middle East to start the year as he has done in the past.

There are a few options for Woods -- all of them speculative -- that I want to take a look and put odds around as the tour roars towards a new calendar year.

Let's take a look.

Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Last played: 2012 | Odds: 5-1

This tournament is probably the safest bet as it's the most prestigious of the five. The last time he was here, however, he got lit in fire by Phil Mickelson in a final round in which Woods was 11 strokes worse than Lefty. That led to this quote from Mickelson.

"I just feel very inspired when I play with him."

So I'm sure Big Cat is super pumped about giving Mickelson another opportunity for that.

Northern Trust Open

Last played: 2006 | Odds: 10-1

This was Woods' first ever pro tournament back in 1992, which Fred Couples won. Woods hasn't returned since he had to withdraw in 2006 with the flu. At the time, his agent Mark Steinberg insinuated that Woods would return someday.

"This is an event he loves to play in and strives to win."

To add to the intrigue, Couples suggested a few years ago that Woods should definitely return someday.

"I'm shocked that he doesn't play here, but I guess he doesn't play well here," a more serious Couples said. "If I can play well here, any human being in the world can play well here."

That entire article is sort of a "nobody knows why he doesn't play here anymore," so might this be the season to return?

Phoenix Open

Last played: 2001 | Odds: 100-1

Uh no. Last time we remember Woods in the desert in Phoenix is when he was raising the roof at No. 16 back in 1997 with this ace.

It's safe to say that golf as a sport would just collapse into itself like a black hole if Tiger was able to pull this off again in 2015.

This won't be happening though. Tiger would sooner re-create Bubba Watson's Bubbaclaus video than distribute product to Phoenix Open patrons.

Humana Challenge

Last played: N/A | Odds: 300-1

Woods likely scoffs at the notion that 30 under should win a professional golf tournament like it has six times here since the turn of the century. He's never played the Humana Challenge and won't be starting in 2015.

Hero Indian Open

Last played: N/A | Odds: 50-1

When you sign (reportedly) $8 million yearly contracts with a company, there are usually requirements on your end to uphold. I doubt "playing the Indian Open in late February" is one for Tiger, but I'm not ruling it out.

The Indian Open is co-sanctioned with the European Tour and Asian Tour this year, so it's not exactly a throwaway tournament and Woods would make waves by playing it.

The only deterrent. There's this quote from Woods just a few weeks ago at the Hero World Challenge in Florida.

"I don't know when the next Indian Open date is."

The truth is that nobody (maybe not even Woods) knows what tournaments he'll enter at the beginning of 2015. I think Pebble Beach is the favorite, but if I was betting at these odds, I'd put money on the Indian Open or Northern Trust Open.
