Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka have been regulars in PGA DFS lineups for years, but daily Fantasy golf players will have to decide if they can be trusted when they set their PGA DFS strategy for the 2020 RBC Heritage, which tees off on Thursday. Johnson, who is $8,500 on DraftKings and $10,700 on FanDuel this week, missed the cut last week at the Charles Schwab Challenge and hasn't finished better than 10th since January. Koepka, who's similarly priced, finished 32nd last week, his best performance thus far on the 2019-20 PGA schedule.

Can those household names be relied on as 2020 RBC Heritage DFS picks this week? Or is it time to fade them in favor of players in better form like Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Bryson DeChambeau? Before you enter any PGA DFS tournaments or cash games for the RBC Heritage 2020, you'll want to see the latest daily Fantasy golf picks and advice from SportsLine's Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS pro with nearly $2 million in career winnings, and he's been red-hot on his PGA Tour picks this season. McClure is also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every tournament 10,000 times, taking factors like statistical trends, past results and current form into account. This allows him to find the best PGA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They're a must-see for any PGA DFS player.

Earlier this season at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, McClure rostered Tyrrell Hatton on FanDuel and DraftKings. The result: Hatton survived tough conditions and finished on top of the leaderboard, earning his first career PGA Tour victory. Anybody who had him in their lineup was well on their way to a huge weekend.

Now, McClure has set his sights on this week's event and revealed his optimal PGA DFS advice, strategy and player pool. Head to SportsLine now to see his top daily Fantasy golf picks for the 2020 RBC Heritage

Top RBC Heritage PGA DFS picks

One of McClure's top PGA DFS picks for the RBC Heritage 2020: Tyrrell Hatton at $8,000 on DraftKings and $9,800 on FanDuel.

Hatton enters the RBC Heritage 2020 as one of the hottest golfers on Tour. In fact, he is coming off his first-career PGA Tour victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and has finished in the top 15 in every start this season. The 28-year-old ranks first on the PGA Tour in strokes gained tee-to-green (2.606), and his ability to consistently find himself in advantageous positions off the tee box has allowed him to rack up 74 birdies in just 16 rounds this season.

In addition, Hatton is fourth in birdie average (4.63), fifth in scoring average (69.207) and eighth in greens in regulation percentage (72.22), which means he can return tournament-winning value at an affordable price.

McClure's optimal PGA DFS strategy also includes rostering Webb Simpson ($9,000 on DraftKings, $11,400 on FanDuel). Simpson, ranked No. 9 in the world and No. 6 in the 2020 FedEx Cup rankings, has shown the ability to compete with the toughest fields on the PGA Tour. He won this year's Phoenix Open against virtually all of the top names and also took third in a loaded 2020 Sony Open field.

Simpson ranks No. 1 on tour in birdie average (5.00 per round), an extremely valuable asset for PGA DFS players. He also hits 72.5 percent of greens in regulation, ranking seventh on tour, which regularly results in sinkable putts. Despite his success, he's only the 10th most expensive golfer on DraftKings and the seventh most expensive on FanDuel, making him one of the must-roster PGA DFS picks this week.
