While the 2021 baseball season is still nearly nine months away for most schools, MaxPreps takes a look at the Top 50 players expected to compete next season.
Philip Abner, Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, N.C.), LHP
Abner is one of the top hurlers for Charlotte Christian. He didn't have a decision in two outings, but he had 14 strikeouts in one game.

Jackson Baumeister, Bolles (Jacksonville, Fla.), C
Although he didn't play this spring, Baumeister was 7-1 with a 0.00 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 44 innings as a sophomore.

Mike Bello, Pope John XXIII (Sparta, N.J.), OF
Bello made the NJ.com all-state first team as a sophomore, batting .488 with 24 RBI and 10 doubles.

Braylon Bishop, Arkansas (Texarkana, Ark.), OF
One of the most athletic players in the Class of 2021, Bishop batted .431 with 13 RBI and five doubles as a sophomore.

Michael Braswell, Campbell (Smyrna, Ga.), IF
Braswell was among the leading hitters for Campbell as a sophomore, batting .353 with 14 RBI and five doubles.

Maddux Bruns, UMS-Wright Prep (Mobile, Ala.), RHP
Bruns was off to a strong start in the 2020 season, striking out 15 in a win over McGill-Toolen.

Irving Carter, Home School (Fla.), P
Carter is home schooled now, but he earned All-American Underclass honors last year by MaxPreps while at Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) when he was 7-1 with a 1.26 ERA and 79 strikeouts in 50 innings.

Daniel Corona, Baylor (Chattanooga, Tenn.), IF
A native of New York, Corona was the only member of the Class of 2021 to play for the Yankees Area Code team over the summer.

Kelly Crumpton , Jackson Prep (Jackson, Miss.), IF
Crumpton helped lead Jackson Prep to an MAIS state championship while batting .386 with 26 RBI and seven home runs.

Owen Flynn, Windermere (Fla.), P
Flynn saw limited action as a sophomore, but he did post a 2-1 record with 2.72 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 18 innings pitched.

Devin Futrell, American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.), P
Futtrell was 3-0 with 19 strikeouts and a 1.17 ERA this spring. ...
