As I'm sure you remember, Brewers outfielder Carlos Gomez and then-Braves catcher Brian McCann had a little run-in last season after Gomez took a little too much time admiring a home run. Here's the video, in case you somehow missed it:
McCann signed with the Yankees as a free agent over the winter, but, thanks to the magic of interleague play, he and Gomez will see each other for a three-game series in Milwaukee this weekend. Surely there is some lingering animosity, right? They both got in each other's face, after all.
It turns out that no, there is no lingering bad blood.
Carlos Gomez & Brian McCann just met on the field, hugged it out. No animosity from last year's confrontation, Gomez said.

Asked Brian McCann this week if he thought Carlos Gomez incident was behind them, he said "100 percent...I respect him."

Well, glad that's settled. Now I'm curious to see what happens if Gomez showboats another homer this weekend. I think that McCann's respect will suddenly go out the window.
