In Game 2 of the Western Conference finals, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green's leg made contact with Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams' groin. It looked painful, but it was hard to blame Green, who appeared to be just rising up for a layup. In Sunday's Game 3, Green once again appeared to hit Adams below the belt, and this one will be much more controversial.

Watch:

That's a kick. Maybe Green didn't mean to kick Adams right in the crotch, but he certainly didn't need to flail his leg like that. This is a dangerous play, and Green earned a flagrant-1 foul for it.

In the Eastern Conference finals, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dahntay Jones has been suspended one game for a clearly intentional low blow. The Warriors have to hope that the league does not issue a similar judgment when it reviews this incident. Green is one of the league's best players, and Golden State would be at a significant disadvantage without him. The team is lucky that he was not ejected immediately.
