  • Clippers' Vince Hunter: Exits contest with bruised knee

Hunter suffered a bruised left knee during Wednesday's summer league matchup with the Wizards and won't return, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.

Hunter played just five minutes off the bench before leaving the contest, going scoreless (0-2 FG) with one rebound. The exact severity of the injury is unclear, though there's obviously a chance he's unable to play in the final game or two of the Clippers' summer league schedule if it's giving him too much discomfort. The 23-year-old came into Wednesday averaging 11.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.0 assist across three games.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Hunter: Latches on with Grizzlies

Hunter signed a contract with the Grizzlies on Monday.

Hunter is familiar with the Memphis organization, as he's played for their Summer League team in each of the last two years. However, the former undrafted forward ultimately was unable to make the team last season and spent the 2016-17 campaign with Avtodor Saratov of Russia's VTB United League. He averaged 14.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.3 blocks across 26.0 minutes in Russia. While terms of his latest deal with the Grizzlies haven't been released, it's likely just for training camp and he'll have an uphill battle to make the final roster.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Hunter: Signs contract with Grizzlies

Hunter signed a training camp contract Sunday with the Grizzlies, Michael Wallace of Grizzlies.com reports.

After waiving Tony Wroten late last week, the Grizzlies had an additional roster spot open for training camp, so the team decided to add Hunter to a frontcourt that remains without Deyonta Davis (foot) and Jarell Martin (foot). The addition of Hunter, who played for the Grizzlies' summer league team in July, will allow coach David Fizdale to reduce the minutes for some of his key big men during the preseason, but the power forward is unlikely to make the team's final 15-man roster.

  • Bulls' Vince Hunter: Waived by Bulls

Hunter was waived by the Bulls on Tuesday, Sean Highkin of The Athletic reports.

Hunter spent only two weeks with the team after signing a non-guaranteed camp deal last month. The UTEP product, who did not see the floor in Monday's preseason opener against the Bucks, will likely open the upcoming season in the D-League, where he averaged 21.8 points and 11.3 rebounds per game in 32 appearances last season.

  • Bulls' Vince Hunter: Agrees to camp deal with Chicago

Hunter agreed Friday on a training camp contract with the Bulls, RealGM.com reports.

Since Hunter's deal isn't guaranteed, he doesn't have much of a chance at making the Bulls' final 15-man roster. The forward split last season between the D-League and the Greek Basket League, where he played for Panathinaikos B.C.
