Many observers expect the Browns to add a starting running back through free agency or the draft, but ESPNCleveland.com notes Edwin Baker finished strong last season and "left a favorable impression with his quick-to-the-hole, north-south running style."
Baker started the final three games, running for 171 yards and two touchdowns while averaging 4.0 yards per carry. He caught eight passes for 57 yards.
The 250th overall pick in the 2012 draft, Baker saw his first NFL action in Week 14 last year. He seems like a good fit for Kyle Shanahan's one-cut, zone-blocking running scheme.
