Tyler Randell: Cut loose from camp
Randell was released from his training camp tryout with the Sabres on Sunday, TSN reports.
Randell will hope to land a minor-league contract with AHL Rochester or some other club after failing to earn a deal from Buffalo. The 27-year-old played 27 games for the Bruins in 2015-16 and could probably add a solid veteran presence to an AHL locker room.

Tyler Randell: Earns camp invite from Sabres
Randell will test the waters of training camp with Buffalo, TSN reports.
Randell -- who was drafted in the sixth round of the 2009 NHL Draft by the Bruins -- has 27 games of NHL experience, but is more likely competing for a spot with AHL Rochester if he can prove himself to team brass. The winger has never been a prolific scorer -- his best minor-league campaign was 20 points in 2014-15, so in the unlikely event he earns a permanent deal from the club, he won't offer much in terms of fantasy production.

Senators' Tyler Randell: On waivers Tuesday
Randell was placed on waivers by the Senators on Tuesday, James Mirtle of The Athletic reports.
Randell spent the 2016-17 campaign in the minors with AHL Providence, where he garnered one goal and nine helpers in 59 outings. While he can rack up hits and he forechecks well, the winger doesn't have much of a scoring touch, which limits his fantasy upside. The 26-year-old figures to once again spent the bulk of the upcoming campaign in the minors.

Senators' Tyler Randell: Picked up by Sens
Randell signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Senators on Saturday, Darren Dreger of TSN reports.
Randell's most notable stat from his time with Boston's program was his knack for the sin bin, clocking 341 PIM in 205 AHL and NHL games over the past four seasons. He did have an impressive outing in 2015-16, where he found the back of the net six times in 27 games, while only averaging about seven minutes of ice time. He was waived the next season and hasn't seen NHL minutes since. It's still unlikely he cracks a lineup with the big club, but in the case he does, expect him to take a fourth-line, enforcer role.

Bruins' Tyler Randell: Waived Monday
Randell was placed on waivers Monday, along with two teammates, in order to reassign him to the minors, Joe Haggerty of CSN New England reports.
Randell lit the lamp six times in just 27 outings last season, while averaging less than seven minutes per night. Despite capitalizing on his limited opportunities, the 25-year-old will be reassigned to AHL Providence along with Seth Griffith and Tim Schaller. Barring injury, all three players figure to spend the majority of the season in the minors further developing their game.

Randell has signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Bruins, the Boston Herald reports.
Randell, who finished the 2015-16 season with six goals and 47 PIM in 27 games for the Bruins, will thus reprise his role as a depth forward for the team. The 25-year-old's fantasy value will remain limited in 2016-17, however, with fourth-line likely once again on tap for Randell.

Randell has been recalled from his conditioning stint with AHL Providence, Joe Haggerty of CSN New England reports.
Randell was sent to the AHL affiliate to get his legs back after sitting out four straight games. It appears one game was enough to do so, and he'll now rejoin the Bruins. The 24-year-old has averaged just 6:48 of ice time and has just five points (all goals) in his 25 games with the parent organization this season, so his value in fantasy leagues remains minimal.

Bruins' Tyler Randell: Sent to AHL Providence
Randell was sent to AHL Providence on a conditioning loan, reports Mark Divver of The Providence Journal.
The Bruins will look to jumpstart Randell, who has five goals in 25 appearances this season. In 170 games with AHL Providence, the 24-year-old winger has 33 points, so he hasn't exactly been very productive during either tenure. Even when he returns to Boston, Randell can be ignored in most formats.

Bruins RW Tyler Randell notches first NHL goal on Wednesday
In his NHL regular season debut, Bruins winger Tyler Randell tallied a goal, while seeing 8:53 worth of ice time in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Avalanche.
With the Bruins having snapped a three-game losing streak to start the season with Wednesday's triumph, look for the fourth-line trio of Randell, Zac Rinaldo and Joonas Kemppainen to remain intact when the Bruins take on the Coyotes on Saturday. With Randell drawing into the lineup after having previously been a healthy scratch, Max Talbot was the odd man out for the B's up front Wednesday.

Randell remains in Bruins training camp and is a surprising candidate for a roster spot on the fourth line, CSN New England's Joe Haggerty reports.Randell is an enforcer type selected by the Bruins in the sixth round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. While he isn't flashy in handling the puck, Randell has been known to stick up for his teammates and that typically leads to respectable PIM totals, such as last season, when he picked up 120 minutes in the Sin Bin with AHL Providence.
