Brett Olson: Heading for Europe
Olson signed a contract with EC Salzburg of the Austrian Eishockey Liga on Friday.
Olson, a Michigan Tech product, spent 2015-16 with AHL Portland, where he racked up 13 goals and 13 helpers in 67 outings. Having yet to make his debut in the majors, it seems unlikely the 29-year-old will be hitting the ice for an NHL squad any time soon.
