The Brasileiro Serie A has produced some of the top players in the world, and the league is once again brimming with talent. On Sunday, there are six matches on the Brazil Serie A schedule, and several talented youngsters with major star potential will be in action like 24-year-old Flamengo striker Pedro and Fluminense's teenage winger Kayky. Flamengo will take on Sport Recife at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, while Fluminense will play Internacional at 7:30 p.m. ET. All the action can be streamed live on Paramount+.

Those two matches book-end the day's action with Corinthians vs. Ceara also at 3 p.m. ET, and Bahia vs. Atletico Goianiense, Cuiaba vs. Athletico-PR and Fortaleza vs. Santos all kicking off at 5:15 p.m. ET. Fortaleza is the only top-four team in action on Sunday and they're the -110 favorite in the Brazil Serie A odds from Caesars Sportsbook. Sunday's matches will be streamed live on Paramount+ with their Premium plan.

Brasileiro Serie A picks for Flamengo vs. Sport Recife

Before you tune in to Sunday's Brasileiro Serie A matchups, you need to see the Brazil Serie A picks from Brazilian-born soccer expert Igor Mello. A managing soccer editor for CBS Sports, Mello was born in Brazil and has covered the top flight of major European leagues, but has a soft spot for the Canarinho. An avid fan of Joga Bonito and the flair that comes with the league, Mello knows the Brazilian game inside and out.

For Flamengo vs. Sport Recife, Mello sees value in betting the under at +105. Flamengo has scored 21 goals in their last six matches, but Sunday's circumstances will be much different.

It's their sixth match in 23 days and just a week ago they were shut out by Internacional in a match where they seemed more focused on their mid-week game against Olimpia. They'll have another mid-week match against Olimpia on Wednesday, so you can reasonably expect many squad changes for Sunday's match.

To make matters worse, Flamengo will be without Gabriel Barbosa after he was red-carded for taunting a referee in the match against Internacional. They'll take on a Sport Recife defense that hasn't allowed a Serie A goal in 377 minutes without one of their most prolific attacking players.
