WWE Raw results, recap, grades: Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins team to end The Bloodline's night of attacks

After a night of The Bloodline executing a series of attacks, it was Owens and Rollins who got the last laugh

On Monday night, Roman Reigns sent the members of The Bloodline to deliver a message to not only Kevin Owens, but the entire Raw locker room. While the group did cause havoc throughout the night, it was Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins who closed the show standing tall.

In addition to The Bloodline's assaults throughout the night, Dexter Lumis and The Miz battled in a ladder match that ended with the WWE return of Bronson Reed while Bayley managed to sneak away with a big win over Becky Lynch.

Owens and Rollins team to end The Bloodline's night of attacks

The show kicked off with a message from undisputed universal champion Roman Reigns. Reigns mocked Kevin Owens for turning to John Cena as his tag partner in their upcoming match. The champion then said that Owens would need more help than Cena, he'd need the whole Raw locker room, as such, The Bloodline were coming to Raw to send a message. The show then cut to the backstage area where The Usos, Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa were attacking Mustafa Ali. The attacks continued, with The Bloodline taking out Elias and The O.C., leading to AJ Styles demanding a match with Zayn.

Sami Zayn def. AJ Styles via pinfall with a Blue Thunder Bomb. The finish came after Zayn distracted the referee while Solo Sikoa hit Styles with the Samoan Spike, leaving Styles compromised and allowing Zayn to pick up the win.

Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins def. The Bloodline via pinfall. The Usos interrupted an in-ring confrontation between Seth Rollins and Austin Theory. Rollins was ready to fight, but Theory bailed from the ring, leaving Rollins outnumbered until Kevin Owens ran in to make the save. After the four men brawled, security broke up the melee, but Owens and Rollins demanded a match later in the night. Sikoa made his way to the ring during the match but was taken down by The O.C. After Owens and Rollins seemed to have the upper hand, with Owens hitting Jey Uso with a stomp outside the ring, Theory appeared in the crowd and hit Rollins with his United States championship belt. With Owens and Jimmy Uso alone in the ring, Owens was eventually able to hit a pop-up powerbomb for the win. After the match, Zayn briefly entered the ring, but backed down as Owens was ready to continue fighting.

Just about everything was done right with this story throughout the night. The Bloodline was dominant and fearless but eventually pushed their luck too far, in part because their previous attacks angered the locker room enough to erase the numbers advantage. Owens needed to look strong as he continues to build toward a showdown with Reigns and giving him the win did that while keeping Reigns' guys looking good by terrorizing the locker room throughout the show. Grade: A

• The Street Profits def. The Judgement Day via pinfall when Montez Ford rolled up Finn Balor. Balor was distracted when Akira Tozawa threw a drink in Dominik Mysterio's face at ringside.
• Rhea Ripley def. Akira Tozawa via pinfall after hitting Riptide. Ripley challenged Tozawa after his interference in the previous match, as with any intergender match in WWE, Tozawa hit zero offense on Ripley aside from pin attempts.
• The O.C. def. Alpha Academy via pinfall after hitting a Magic Killer on Chad Gable. After the match, The Bloodline attacked.
• Alexa Bliss and Bianca Belair sat down for an interview. After explaining that she was not in the grips of Bray Wyatt despite nearly hitting Belair with Sister Abigail last week, Bliss ended the interview by breaking a vase over Belair's head.
• The Miz def. Dexter Lumis in a "winner-take-all" ladder match after Bronson Reed returned to WWE to take out Lumis.
• Bayley def. Becky Lynch via pinfall with a Rose Plant. Lynch dealt with interference from Damage CTRL throughout the match, with that finally coming to a head as they distracted the referee, allowing Bayley to hit Lynch with a ringside monitor before hitting a Rose Plant for the finish.
