With Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia less than one week away and participants at the event unable to appear on SmackDown due to travel, the final heavy lifting for the event had to happen on Raw on Monday night. That included rare television appearances from both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

Unsurprisingly, Lesnar found himself in another brawl with Crown Jewel opponent Bobby Lashley. The action got so out of hand that even Triple H had to make his presence known to help break up the fight.

As for Reigns, the undisputed WWE universal champion did not come face-to-face with Logan Paul, the man who will challenge for the title on Saturday. Instead, Reigns made an example out of The Miz, saying that no one should be talking about the possibility of Paul knocking him out as no man alive can accomplish that task, especially not an "outsider."

CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley brawl again

Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley were set to take part in a simultaneous sit-down interview from separate locations in the business. Lesnar did not show up however, instead walking to the ring in the middle of the interview while Lashley claimed Lesnar has been ducking him for 20 years. Lesnar said he didn't come to Texas to talk, he came to fight. Lashley stormed to the ring and they briefly brawled before WWE officials, members of the locker room and Triple H came to break them up at which point Triple H said he would cancel their Crown Jewel match if they touched each other again.

The right way to approach Lashley and Lesnar has always been to just have them fight rather than talk. Having Triple H among those who came out to try and handle the situation was a nice touch, giving the impression that holding these two apart is so impossible that the biggest guns in the company are scrambling for a solution. Grade: B+

Roman Reigns delivers a final warning to Logan Paul

Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman came to the ring to cut a promo on Logan Paul ahead of Crown Jewel. The Miz interrupted the promo, quickly saying that he "acknowledges" Reigns and that he simply was there to help him as someone who knows Paul better than anyone, including knowing that Paul has knockout power. After Reigns asked if Miz was trying to arrange some sort of deal, he delivered a Superman punch. Reigns then said that people need to stop talking about Paul knocking him out and instead talking about him knocking Paul out.

It's not easy to build to an undisputed title match involving Logan Paul. While no doubt impressive in his two career matches, Paul isn't someone seen on Reigns' level, and for good reason. Reigns trying to play down the challenge and the constant suggestions he may get knocked out by a guy who has never even knocked anyone out in his exhibition boxing career is about the best direction you can go and Miz is always good fodder in these situations. Still, this is a match that only really matters when it happens and the build is basically entirely impossible to make interesting. Grade: C+

What else happened on WWE Raw?

  • Bianca Belair def. Nikki Cross via pinfall after hitting a KOD. After the match, Damage CTRL attacked Belair but Asuka and Alexa Bliss made the save to help run off the heels.
  • Seth Rollins def. Austin Theory via pinfall with a stomp. This was one of the better WWE television matches of the year with both men going all-out in a dramatic bout.
  • Karl Anderson def. Damian Priest via pinfall with a backslide. After the match, Judgement Day beat down The O.C. after Rhea Ripley hit Luke Gallows with a low blow.
  • Baron Corbin beat down R-Truth after Truth interrupted a promo.
  • Matt Riddle def. Otis via pinfall in a "Trick or Street Fight" after hitting an RKO as Otis had a pumpkin on his head.
  • Mustafa Ali def. The Miz via pinfall with a 450 splash.
  • Johnny Gargano finally "blew the whistle" on The Miz playing audio of Miz appearing to suggest he was paying Dexter Lumis to be a "celebrity stalker." Gargano then explained how Lumis' attacks on Miz were all premeditated until Miz stopped paying, at which point Gargano began stalking him for real.
  • Women's Tag Team Championship -- Alexa Bliss & Asuka def. Dakota Kai & IYO SKY (c) via pinfall to win the titles. Bayley and Belair brawled outside the ring before Bayley hit a Bayley-To-Belly through two tables. Back in the ring, Bliss managed to hit SKY with a Twisted Bliss to win the titles.
