Who's Playing

Missouri @ Alabama

Current Records: Missouri 8-9; Alabama 12-6

What to Know

The Alabama Crimson Tide have been on the wrong side of a one-way rivalry with the Missouri Tigers and are hoping to record their first victory since Jan. 18 of 2020. Bama and Mizzou will face off in an SEC battle at 6 p.m. ET Saturday at Coleman Coliseum. These two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.

The Crimson Tide came out on top in a nail-biter against the LSU Tigers on Wednesday, sneaking past 70-67. Bama can attribute much of their success to guard Jaden Shackelford, who had 26 points.

Meanwhile, after constant struggles on the road, Mizzou has finally found some success away from home. They put the hurt on the Ole Miss Rebels with a sharp 78-53 win. Four players on Mizzou scored in the double digits: guard Amari Davis (23), forward Kobe Brown (15), guard Javon Pickett (11), and forward Ronnie DeGray III (11). Amari Davis' performance made up for a slower matchup against the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday. Davis' points were the most he has had all year.

The Crimson Tide are the favorite in this one, with an expected 17.5-point margin of victory. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past four games, so buyers beware.

Bama was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap in the teams' previous meeting earlier this month as they fell 92-86 to Mizzou. Maybe Bama will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the game and check back on CBS Sports for all the details.
