High tensions exploded into a fight when Colorado State and Air Force met Saturday, leading to the ejection of one player and technical fouls for three more.

Colorado State big man J.J. Avila got tangled up with Air Force guard Zach Kocur going for a rebound, then ended up on the floor with Kocur's head in "a half nelson" per the Root Sports announcers. Air Force guard Matt Mooney ran over to Avila and punched him in the back, which led to both teams getting in on the fight.

Mooney was ejected, Avila was given a technical foul along with Rams forward Tiel Daniels and Falcons forward Justin Hammonds for their participation in the scrap.

The game was otherwise very competitive, in a good, entertaining basketball way, and Colorado State went on to win 92-87.
