It is the last week of the regular season and the last chance for teams on the bubble to help themselves before the conference tournaments.

Or, in the case of the teams playing Tuesday, there are chances for team to avoid hurting themselves. Every bubble team in action is trying to avoid a bad loss.

Seton Hall 62, Georgetown 59

It was not easy, but the Pirates prevailed in a game that would have been a bad loss had they not held the Hoyas off.  Seton Hall is close to coming off the bubble.  Winning at Butler would do that for sure, but now, the Pirates have given themselves a cushion where they can afford a loss to Butler.

Providence 73, DePaul 64

Providence is also close to being off the bubble after taking care of the Blue Demons. The Friars still have a lot of bad losses on their résumé -- and a potential bad loss up ahead -- so I am not quite confident enough to say Providence is safe yet.  Maybe one more victory would do it.

Fresno State 74, Boise State 67

Boise State fell at home, and that is one loss too many for the Broncos, whose bubble has popped. Now they will have to try to win the Mountain West tournament.
