Who's Playing

Boston College @ North Carolina

Current Records: Boston College 8-10; North Carolina 13-6

What to Know

The North Carolina Tar Heels are 6-1 against the Boston College Eagles since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success Wednesday. UNC and BC will face off in an ACC battle at 7 p.m. ET at Dean E. Smith Center. The Tar Heels are out to keep their ten-game home win streak alive.

The Virginia Tech Hokies typically have all the answers at home, but on Monday UNC proved too difficult a challenge. UNC walked away with a 78-68 victory. They got double-digit scores from five players: guard Caleb Love (22), guard RJ Davis (15), forward Brady Manek (15), forward Armando Bacot (14), and guard Leaky Black (10). That makes it ten consecutive games in which Armando Bacot has had at least ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, BC was expected to have a tough go of it on Monday, and that's exactly how things played out. Things couldn't have gone much worse for them as they lost 87-57 to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Guard Makai Ashton-Langford just could not get things rolling his way, playing for 31 minutes with 3-for-16 shooting.

The Tar Heels are the favorite in this one, with an expected 14-point margin of victory. There could be an interesting gambling play in this one, as they have done quite well against the spread at home this season while the Eagles have struggled against the spread on the road.

North Carolina's win lifted them to 13-6 while Boston College's loss dropped them down to 8-10. In North Carolina's win, Caleb Love had 22 points and five assists and Brady Manek had 15 points in addition to eight boards. We'll see if BC have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
