Campbell has parted ways with coach Robbie Laing after a decade.

Laing was 101-165 in nine seasons in Buies Creek, NC, before this season, and the Fighting Camels finished 13-20 this season, 7-9 in Big South play and third in the North Division. Campbell lost to Gardner-Webb in the quarterfinals of the league tourney.

Laing, 54, played football at Troy State and was an assistant coach at various stops -- including Georgia Southern, Western Kentucky, Southern Mississippi and Auburn under Cliff Ellis. He was also the head coach at Jones Junior College in Mississippi.

He was hired at Campbell in 2003 and had his best season in 2010, when the Camels tied for first in the league and won 19 games.
