Air Force shocked Wyoming in the first round of the Mountain West Conference tournament, and Gian Clavell made sure Colorado State wouldn’t suffer the same fate.

Clavell poured in 30 points in the Rams’ quarterfinal win over Air Force in the quarterfinals, which sent Colorado State on to a semifinal matchup against San Diego State on Friday.

Clavell shot 10-16 from the field, including an incredible 6-11 on 3-point attempts en route to his 30 points. He also pulled down seven rebounds to go along with two assists and two steals. It was the second straight game with 30 or more points for Clavell, who will look to get Colorado State a MWC tournament title -- and a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
