The Old Dominion Monarchs will hit the road for the third straight game as they head to Kaplan Arena at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday. They will be strutting in after a victory while the William & Mary Tribe will be stumbling in from a defeat.

The George Mason Patriots typically have all the answers at home, but this past Saturday the Monarchs proved too difficult a challenge. Old Dominion was able to grind out a solid win over the Patriots, winning 60-50. Four players on Old Dominion scored in the double digits: guard C.J. Keyser (19), guard Jaylin Hunter (16), guard Mekhi Long (11), and forward Kalu Ezikpe (10).

Meanwhile, a win for William & Mary just wasn't in the stars this past Saturday as the team never even grasped a temporary lead. Things couldn't have gone much worse for them as they lost 70-46 to the Davidson Wildcats. William & Mary was surely aware of their 19.5-point disadvantage in the point spread, but the foreknowledge did nothing to prevent the result. Guard Connor Kochera (18 points) was the top scorer for William & Mary.

The Monarchs are the favorite in this one, with an expected 6.5-point margin of victory. But bettors beware: they are only 1-3 against the spread when favored.

Old Dominion's win brought them up to 4-5 while the Tribe's loss pulled them down to 1-8. Two offensive numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Old Dominion is stumbling into the matchup with the 15th fewest points per game in college basketball, having accrued only 61.7 on average. William & Mary has experienced some struggles of their own as they have only been able to knock down 39.70% percent of their shots, which is the 26th lowest field goal percentage in college basketball. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
