4. Oregon-Arizona State getting settled in triple-overtime. Arizona State had more than 700 total yards in the game and pulled off the kind of crazy plays you'd need to beat one of the Oregon teams carrying the Pac-12 heavyweight profile we're used to, but even this version of the Ducks was able to escape Tempe with a win, 61-55 in triple overtime.

If Oregon and Arizona State were the division heavyweights many expected at the beginning of the season, this controversial result would have drawn more headlines but after a disappointing step back from preseason expectations this was one of those games that drew as much interest for the insanity as it did implications.

5. Wake Forest-Boston College. Wake Forest totaled just 124 yards of offense and got only five first downs in the 3-0 win. Boston College's defense did almost everything it could to make up for four turnovers and a pair of missed field goals. The unit even came up with a goal-line stand after the offense lost a fumble on their own five yard line. Unfortunately for BC, Wake Forest was able to hit its chip shot field goal to secure the only points of the game.

To review: In the final two minutes, Boston College lost a fumble while driving for a field goal or touchdown, then Wake Forest fumbled the ball right back to set up the Eagles in the red zone only to hold them at the goal line and watch the time expire.

Miami won at Duke on a walk-off kickoff return touchdown. (USATSI)
