Nebraska coach Bo Pelini probably figured his team would be tested against McNeese State, a 10-win team from the FCS with a history of making life difficult for FBS teams. But after rolling FAU in Week 1, fans did not expect the nail-biter that occurred Saturday in Memorial Stadium.

Luckily, Ameer Abdullah was there to save the day. It may become a weekly feature; Nebraska relying on its star running back when the offense gets in a jam. Just check out Abdullah's effort to keep the play alive and break the 24-24 tie with less than a minute remaining.

Check out a video of the play below, which has been set to music from Super Mario Bros. It does look like Abdullah had the power of the super star.
