Ruiz will be called up by the White Sox on Wednesday, James Fegan of The Athletic Chicago reports.
Ruiz has spent the bulk of the season with Double-A Birmingham, throwing 45.1 innings with a 3.18 ERA. The White Sox will give him a look in the bullpen down the stretch.
