Signed earlier this week after the Saints cut Zach Hocker, Forbath did not attempt a field goal, but he did shank a extra point try in the second quarter. The Saints have struggled the last few years to find a consistent kicking option, so the missed extra point was hardly encouraging, but the Saints' staff will likely give Forbath at least a few games before evaluating his performance.
