Tlusty is dealing with an upper-body injury, Tom Gulliti of the The Record reports.
Rich Chere of the Newark Star-Ledger noted in a separate report that Tlusty has been placed on injured reserve with Joseph Blandisi getting called up from AHL Albany. Tlusty will be eligible to return Jan. 16 against the Coyotes, yet more details about his injury could surface ahead of that timeframe.
