Golden Knights' Mason Morelli: Gets first NHL deal

Morelli signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Golden Knights on Saturday.

Morelli has spent the last three years in the Capitals' organization on minor-league deals. He's racked up 91 points over 195 AHL contests in his career, and he'll now get a chance on an NHL deal. The 27-year-old is still expected to spend most of 2023-24 with AHL Henderson.
