Kero was a healthy scratch for Friday's game versus the Blackhawks.
Kero played in the last three games while Radek Faksa (lower body) was on the mend. With Faksa back, Kero exited the lineup, and he may have a tough time getting back in. With just three assists, 14 shots on net and a minus-5 rating in 23 games, the 29-year-old forward hasn't shown that he belongs in the lineup over younger options like Joel Kiviranta or Jacob Peterson, the latter of whom scored the shootout winner in Friday's 1-0 win.
