U.S. Open tee times pair Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson

There are plenty of marquee groups but none come close to the starting time of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson.

There are few tournaments as prestigious as the U.S. Open, and with it comes some marquee names. Lucky for golf fans, the USGA has decided to pair the three biggest names in the game all in the same group. Yes, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson will be paired together for the first two rounds of the second major of 2012, and you should expect an absolute hurricane of fans surrounding the 7:33 a.m. tee time at Olympic Club on Thursday. Tiger, Phil and Bubba account for seven of the last 12 Masters winners, and are arguably the biggest names in the game right now, especially after what Watson did at Augusta National.

The other big-hitting threesome comes with the top three players in the world, with Rory McIlroy, Luke Donald and Lee Westwood going off at 1:29 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. The rest of the field is below, but expect some serious fireworks out of the six guys mentioned above. 

Pairings that would normally tee off on No. 10 to start the round will start on No. 9 because the hole is closer to the clubhouse and practice facilities.
