Here's a happy story -- which, well, is right in my wheelhouse.
There's nothing that gets to me quite like the search for a lost dog -- and when it's the lost dog of my childhood hero? Well, you've got me hooked.
Here's the good news first:
The Hall of Famer lost his black labradoodle named Charlie on Tuesday night and put out an APB on Twitter to find him.We got him! Thank you for all the support! It is so touching to see how many people care! You all were a big help! Thank you

Brett joined Twitter earlier this month and quickly found a good way to utilize it. Of his 54 tweets to his more than 10,000 followers, 40 were about Charlie, including an attempt to get the hashtag #FindCharlie trending. Luckily the Charlie returned to the Brett family's Mission Hills, Kansas home on Wednesday and we can all breathe easier. Please help: My dog has gone missing. his name is Charlie and he is a black labradoodle. HELP Please. Pic to follow!
