Tigers manager Brad Ausmus was ejected from Monday night's game due to arguing balls and strikes, though that hardly does his tirade justice (see below). In return, MLB has announced that Ausmus has been suspended for one game. He'll serve the suspension Tuesday night in Detroit while his team plays the Twins.
Ausmus was also fined an undisclosed amount. The official ruling here was that Ausmus is disciplined "for excessive arguing and his inappropriate actions."
Let's take a look at the excessive arguing and inappropriate actions, shall we?
You know what? If you're gonna get tossed, get your money's worth. Ausmus did that.
