The Nevada State Athletic Commission confirmed on Monday that UFC interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones tested positive for two estrogen blockers that were in his system a couple weeks before his rematch with Daniel Cormier at UFC 200.

Jones had hydroxy-clomiphene and letrozole metabolite in his system when tested on June 16, NSAC attorney Caroline Bateman said during a hearing in Las Vegas on Monday, per MMAJunkie.com. Both substances are banned year-round by the World Anti-Doping Agency.

Jones' fighting license also remained temporarily suspended by unanimous vote until a formal hearing is held later on this year. Jones was removed from UFC 200 just three days before the event after the positive test was released. Jones denied the results and requested his B sample also be tested, which also came back positive.

Jones' agent Malki Kawa claims the fighter missed out on an eight-figure payday for missing the event.

"You're talking about an eight-figure payday," Kawa said per MMAFighting.com. "Eight figures. Conor (McGregor) can talk about whatever he gets and all of that, Jon is by far the highest paid guy in the UFC, and the numbers that were shown that day for everybody from Brock (Lesnar) and the way down, Jon was making more than all of that. So for me, we lost out on an eight-figure payday, including myself.

Jones also cost Cormier $500,000 after getting removed from the bout.
