LeBron James passed Michael Jordan on the NBA playoff scoring list Thursday night. It was an incredible achievement from one of the NBA's greatest players ever, but just like anybody that grew up when James did there's a story to be told. Everybody grew up copying Michael Jordan in one way or another and James was no different.

James talked about taking fade-away jumpers when he didn't need to, wearing short-shorts because that's what Jordan wore, and doing everything possible to be like Mike. There was one part of his life though that he couldn't quite copy and that's his hair.

It's funny to hear James make a hairline comment. It seems like for years he has done everything possible to hide his receding hairline, but he has embraced that. It's also very cool to see someone as great as James say that even he tried to be like Mike. Kids everywhere tried to copy their favorite basketball players growing up, but being like Mike is something everyone has done.

Seeing players reflect on the players they tried to be like growing up is always really cool. It's a moment for fans to connect to the player and say they did that too.
