After the Cavaliers won the NBA championship in June, it became quite clear that J.R. Smith loved to be shirtless. He partied in Vegas without a shirt, paraded through the streets of Cleveland shirtless and even was admonished by President Obama for his half-naked ways. So considering his history of being shirtless, it should come as no surprise that Smith decided to take his shirt off at Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday.
Smith wanted to hype up the fans at Progressive Field, and Smith did just that with his shirtless antics.
Smith might have inspired the Indians. Shortly after removing his shirt he appeared on the Jumbotron, Rajai Davis hit a two-run homer to tie the game in the bottom of the eighth inning. It was quite an amazing play, which nearly caused Smith's teammate LeBron James to be shirtless as well.
