Playing in a brand new arena in downtown Sacramento, the Kings will be entering a new era in their franchise history next season. To complement the new arena, the Kings will reportedly also be unveiling new team logos which SportsLogos.net got a leaked version of on Saturday.
The logos are similar to past Kings logos but are a bit more refined and modern looking. A lion, a nod to the Kings' majestic name and their mascot, is also added in one logo.
These aren't the official versions of the logos, but SportsLogos.net got the images from a European trademark filing by the NBA so they are coming from a reputable source. Also, the logos will likely won't be black and white as that is just the color scheme for trademark filings. Overall though, these are really good-looking logos and should look great in the Kings' new arena next season.
