The Chicago Bulls shot out to a 2-0 lead against the Celtics in their first-round series on the strength of their rebounding. The Bulls play bigger players at every position, play more aggressive on the glass and bring more physicality. They also have smart veterans who know how to collect boards. You know, like Dwyane Wade.

Except on this play.

You see on this play, Dwyane Wade became an old man staring at grapefruits in a grocery store, completely oblivious to the fact that he's holding up the flow of traffic behind him.

When it happened live, I assumed that there was some sort of blown switch, that it wasn't his assignment. But no, no, it clearly was. Wade walks toward the basket like he's just going to see if that person he saw in the crowd is someone he knows, and then just stands there while Avery Bradley gets the putback.

Wade has battled the idea he is "washed up" for years. He missed a dunk by hitting the rim earlier in this series, but then came back with an impressive block and a strong Game 2. Sequences like this, though, show a lack of focus and connect with the game. The Bulls trailed by two at the half, and while no one possession decides a game, Wade's effort here has to be concerning.

It's also just really, really funny. He looks like a dude ambling through his kitchen in his pajamas in the morning looking for a nice piece of fruit.
