Eric Decker asks fans why they love the Jets; sadness, hilarity ensues

Here's what wide receiver Eric Decker said after the Jets' latest humiliating loss, the 43-23 three-ring circus against the Bills: "We're not a bad football team, we just do stupid stuff."

That's ... optimistic.

By just about every measure, the Jets are horrible and it's reflected in their 1-7 record. But Decker, who signed with the team in the offseason, is a glass-half-full guy, which explains this tweet from Monday night.

It's a nice gesture. One that, in theory, would allow fans to talk directly to the Jets wideout and hopefully take their minds off two months of forgettable football. And for some, Decker's tweet achieved just that. For others, not so much.
