Jaguars rookie defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and will miss the entire 2015 season, the team announced.

Fowler injured his knee during an 11-on-11 drill at Jacksonville's rookie minicamp and needed to be helped off the field. After practice Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said Fowler would undergo further evaluation

A fan attending the rookie minicamp shot a video of the play, which shows Fowler crumple to the ground while working against offensive lineman Watts Dantzler.

The Jaguars took Fowler with the third overall pick in this year's NFL draft. In 2014 with Florida, Fowler totaled 60 tackles and 8 1/2 sacks.
