A shed that housed football equipment Blake High School in Florida caught on fire recently and as a result, an estimated $15,000 worth of the equipment was destroyed. As a result, the school assumed preparing for the 2020 season would be an uphill battle. That was until Rob Gronkowski and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers stepped in. The "Gronk Nation Youth Foundation" and the Buccaneers are replacing the storage shed and all of the equipment that was lost in the fire.

"Hey everyone, last week we heard about an unfortunate incident in Tampa where a fire burned down a high school storage shed full of their team's football equipment," Gronk said in an Instagram video. "Sadly, they lost it all. Well, the Gronk Nation Youth Foundation and my new team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, are all about helping youth reach their full potential. So, we're gonna do just that. To the Blake High School Yellow Jackets, you're getting a brand new storage unit and new football equipment to replace everything that was lost."

Gronkowski urged the Blake High School football team to keep working hard and said he could be bringing his new teammates by a practice later this year.

Game day equipment, field markers, pylons, chains, practice equipment, pop-up dummies and pads are just some of the items that were lost in the fire. According to the Tampa Bay Times, some of the equipment was personally purchased by the school's coaching staff.

Despite only being a Buccaneer for a short time, Gronkowski is already making an impact in the community.
