New team, new city, new offense, same problem.

Vernon Davis, the former 49ers tight end who was traded to the Broncos in the middle of last season, is now a member of the Redskins. After a disastrous stretch in Denver, Davis latched onto the Redskins to serve as a compliment to Jordan Reed.

He was not signed, however, to do this:

So, that's Davis dropping a perfectly placed touchdown pass from Colt McCoy in his first-ever quarter with his new team. And that should look familiar.

Davis failed to reach the end zone last year and hasn't scored since September 2014. Last December, Davis dropped a crucial fourth-down pass in the fourth quarter of the Broncos' loss to the Raiders.

It's the first game of the preseason, which hardly serves as any indication of what's to come, and he has a history of success (just look at his career numbers), but Davis is off to a rough start with the Redskins.
